Description: The Industrial Automation & Mechatronics program provides comprehensive knowledge of different mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and automation processes. Upon completing the program, students will have the base competencies to perform at a higher level in an industrial automation maintenance position. The skills for installation, preventive maintenance, diagnostics and equipment repair remain in high demand. Increased automation, robotics and mechatronics in the workplace have increased As such, employment opportunities as an industrial automation maintenance technician are excellent. Program graduates will find their skills in demand in hospitals, schools, manufacturing, industrial/processing, as well as on general building maintenance sites.

Program Admission: Applicants must achieve a minimum ALEKS® score of 14. ACT® or SAT® scores are also acceptable.
Program Requirements: During term 1, students will complete a ten-hour OSHA training course online through Career Safe Online or provide an equivalent.
