Description: The Data Analytics certificate is designed to provide students with the knowledge and the skills necessary for employment and growth in analytical professions. Data Analysts process and analyze essential information about business operations and also assimilate data for forecasting purposes. Coursework includes data analytics, including general theory, best practices, data mining, data warehousing, predictive modeling, and software packages. Related skills include data communication, critical thinking and decision making. The curriculum is hands-on, with an emphasis on application of theoretical and practical concepts. Students will engage with widely-utilized tools and technology in today’s analytics fields.
