HUM 170 - Introduction to Women’s Studies 3 Credit(s) Introduces major issues concerning women via an examination and analysis of images and roles of women in such areas as history, philosophy, psychology, sociology, literature and the arts. Includes a multidisciplinary approach to the study of feminism, evaluation and analysis of sex-role stereotyping and the subsequent socialization of genders in institutions, programs and curricula in attempts to create the “egalitarian” society.
