Provides theoretical and historical information regarding the development of crisis intervention. Offers opportunities to learn and practice specific skills and techniques for diverse crisis situations, especially those applicable to working with persons with psychological disorders, as well as exploring the behavioral, legal, ethical and cultural implications for interventions.
