BIO 168 - Human Anatomy and Physiology I 4 Credit(s) The first of a two-semester sequence providing a comprehensive study of the structure and function of the human body for college transfer and/or allied health programs. Topics include, but are not limited to, body organization, homeostasis, cells, tissues, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system, and nervous system. Laboratory component includes anatomical studies using microscopy and dissection as well as the study of physiological concepts via experimentation. Lecture Hours: 48 | Lab Hours: 32
Prerequisite(s): One year high school biology/chemistry or college equivalent with a minimum grade of C-; or a minimum grade of C- in BIO 112 , BIO 157 , or CHM 110 Note: Corresponds to college or university lower division coursework.
