ECE 359 - ECE Curriculum II Lab 1 Credit(s)
During this course students will practice the selection and use of assessment techniques and plan and set-up age, individual, and culturally appropriate learning centers, activities and group experiences for young children in an assigned licensed center or public/private school setting with instructor’s supervision. Emphasis will be on understanding young children’s developmental stages as the students participate in appropriate learning opportunities and interact within learning environments in the following areas: emergent literacy, math, science, technology, social studies, creative art, music and movement, dramatic play, fine and gross motor play and outdoor experiences. | Lab Hours: 32
