Description: The Avionics Electronic Technician Program will provide the skills needed to work with aircraft electronics. The program will be three (3) semester, nine (9) month diploma program providing students with knowledge of aircraft avionics systems. Students will be able to identify electronic components used in aircraft avionic systems; they will develop skills that will allow them to troubleshoot and repair faulty avionics systems using FAA approved techniques.
During term 1, while enrolled in AVM 205 , students will complete a ten-hour OSHA training course online through Career Safe Online.
