Program Entry: Enrollment may occur during any term. Fall term is the start of the program course sequence.

Award: Associate of Applied Science degree

Description: Engineering technicians are vital members of an engineering team. Technicians provide technical support and assistance throughout the design and manufacturing process.

The Engineering Technology program is designed to educate and train skilled technicians needed for the design and development of new products from concept to completion, analysis and design of production systems and processes involved in manufacturing operations and services, implementation of quality control and continuous improvement processes and the application of lean principles. Engineering Technology students will develop a multi-discipline skill base, preparing them for the high-level tasks they are required to excel in today’s global market place.

Program Admission: In addition to the College enrollment process , applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent and achieve a minimum ALEKS® score of 30. ACT® or ACT Compass® scores are also acceptable.

Program Requirements: During term 1, students will complete a ten-hour OSHA training course online through Career Safe Online, or provide an equivalent.

Academic Requirements: To graduate from this program, students must complete all core coursework with a “C-” grade or above and earn a minimum 2.0 grade point average.

Minimum Credits: 71.5
