IND 230 - Introduction to Print Reading and Measurements

The fundamentals of blueprint reading, measurements, torque and applied physics. Describes the use, calibration and care of common measuring instruments and gauges used in the production environment. Students learn how to find information from blueprints, perform calculations involving common English units, metric units and conversions between the two systems. Students will understand the concepts of physics and work through practical mathematic application and knowledge of front-line self-inspection. Lecture Hours: 12 | Lab Hours: 8
