MAT 128 - Precalculus

Prepares students for calculus. Precalculus studies the nature of elementary functions and their role in mathematics by integrating a combination of algebra and trigonometry. Topics include the real number system, functions, polynomials and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions, trigonometric identities, analytic trigonometry, systems of equations and matrices. Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of C- in MAT 102  or MAT 747  or qualifying placement score
