Traditional sexual values and attitudes are being challenged by several factors including advances in medical science, greater amounts of leisure time, changing roles of men and women, new knowledge about sex and growing concern about sexually transmitted disease. Human Sexuality looks at sexual attitudes and practices across the diverse cultures of the world in order to develop a knowledge and understanding of the complexity of sexual behavior within societies and within ourselves.
