ELE 401 - Photovoltaic System Fundamentals

During this course the students will be introduced to solar energy basics. Students will be exposed to site survey, Photovoltaic (PV) system components and electrical system design. Students will gain hands-on experience with roof layout, shading analysis with Solar Pathfinder, calculating energy production for specific sites, and calculating load estimations.  Lecture Hours: 40 | Lab Hours: 16
