CRJ 120 - Introduction to Corrections

This three-hour course is a survey course reviewing the history, development, and functions of the correctional system and programs.  Students will learn about the purposes, goals, and methods to achieve the goals of the corrections system, and students will examine the system components from the legal, ethical, and functional perspectives.
