PHS 142 - Principles of Astronomy

During this course, students will study the elements of the solar system: planets, their moons, comets, asteroids and the sun as well as stars, galaxies, history of the universe, astronomical equipment, spectroscopy and others. Presents astronomical principles in lecture at a low level of mathematical difficulty. Laboratory demonstrations are used to enhance lecture material. Lecture Hours: 48 |
