DEA 310 - Dental Radiography I

During this course students will be presented with background information in radiography which  covers the uses of radiation in dentistry, characteristics of radiation, technical aspects of production, components and functions of dental x‑ray machines, radiation safety, effects of exposure, film and film processing, landmarks, the interproximal examination, intraoral photos and an introduction to panoramic procedure. Lecture Hours: 32 | Lab Hours: 8

Pre-/Corequisite(s): A minimum grade of C- in DEA 250
