CON 383 - Building Codes and Specifications

During this course students will be introduced to national building codes which are related to the residential and light-commercial building trades. Students will learn from a combination of the most recent editions of the International Residential Code and the International Energy Conservation Code. Students will also learn how to interpret and create building specifications as to the kind and quality of materials, workmanship, and the relationship of the parties concerned with specific projects.
