CIS 303 - Introduction to Database 3 Credit(s) During this course students will be introduced to the concepts of working with databases and a database management system. Database terms are identified and definitions are standardized. An understanding of the physical and logical organization of data and the meaningful representation of data relationships and structures are presented and reinforced with hands-on examples. Methods to achieve these logical relationships such as linked lists, chains, pointers, and inverted files are evaluated. Lecture Hours: 32 | Lab Hours: 32
