ASL 271 - American Sign Language IV 3 Credit(s)
During this course students will review and build upon the grammar and conversation skills learned in American Sign Language III. The focus is the continuation of applied conversation use of ASL through literature, narratives, poetry, and creative sign play. The course analyzes ASL grammatical principles and Deaf cultural experiences, emphasizing idiomatic usage and socio-cultural communicative functions. Lecture Hours: 48 |
