Focuses on two parts of computing: computer literacy and computer applications. Presents updated and revised computer concepts. Includes an overview of computers and their uses, connecting and communicating online, evaluating options for home and work, productivity, graphics, security, web applications, digital security, ethics, privacy, threats, issues, and defenses. Includes the latest version of Microsoft Office and Windows concepts and skills. Overviews application software concepts through hands-on exercises. Students gain experience by working through progressively challenging exercises using business application software. Stresses practical use of spreadsheet, work processing, graphic programs, and integration. Lecture Hours: 16 | Lab Hours: 64
